CRANK over-view
Kristina is a girl who doesn't get along with her family very well; her brother is young nieve and spoiled, her mom is emotionally distant, her stepfather is very stern, and her older sister is caught up in an "uncertain sexuality." The plot so far is that Kristina is very confused and has met a "monster" in the mirror. Kristina feels very alone and i think that this "monster" is the other side of her, i think Kristina has Bipolar disease. The theme is really dark, mysterious, and confusing so far. I think CRANK will be a very interesting book the farther i read into it.

What does the book describe the main plot to be? It seems it would be an oky book.

This sounds like an interesting book! But why is Kristina's parents and her sister so different (wierd) from her? Do you think that the story will end good like Kristina and her family get better, or do you think anyone dies?

ReplyDeleteMs.Shank--i think that Kristina's "monster" is named CRANK and i think Kristina's bipolar because in the book it says how she looks in the mirror and one day she sees someone else.
Hannah--i have no idea why her family is so different from her and for some reason i don't think it will end good.
Could it be that there is actually a monster in the mirror? Maybe there is an alternate universe on the other side of the mirror and she has found a gateway through to a land where monsters are common...or not.

ReplyDeleteHannah-I think she may get caught up in this "Monster" and hide from the whole world. I think the book may have a tragic ending like someone dying or something major happening.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the setting? Does she live in like a dark world or a bright one? What do you think is going to happen in her life? This story seams very interesting and i wonder what is going to happen in here life.
ReplyDeleteChelsea- The setting has not come up in the book yet, so far it seems as if she lives in a dark world, and I think she is going to run into a lot of trouble in the book.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is titled CRANK because krisitna is a drug addict and she is going to be battling her drug addiction. Do you think this might be?
